An actor’s long march

Famous bollywood actor Aamir Khan has been experimenting new characters for his fans and audience. Now, he is acting in upcoming film 'Lal Singh Chhada'.
This is a big news for Aamir’s fans. He says, "My next film is finalized; it is called ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’ and made by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures along with my own production house ‘Aamir Khan Productions together." The film titled ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’, is a remake of the 1994 film Forrest Gump, which featured Tom Hanks in the lead role.
‘Lal singh Chhada’ is directed by Secret Superstar director Advait Chandan and written by Atul Kulkarni. Incidentally, this film has two producers : one is Aamir Khan production along with Viacom 18 Motion Pictures.
For playing such role especially as Lal Singh Chhada’s character, he has to reduce his weight about 20 Kilos and he will be wearing turban to match his character as a real sardar whose name is Lal Singh Chhada.
Lal Singh Chaddha’ will be expected to go on floors in October and the actor has already started its preparation and he is under strict diet for six months. So,that he will look as lean and slim.
Aamir said that he has decided for this remake of Forrest Gump "I have always loved Forrest Gump as a script and its a wonderful story about this character.along with its life-affirming story. However, its a feel good film for the whole family.
The Forest Gump is the 1994 comedy - drama, based on the 1986 novel of the same name, and the film featured Tom Hank’s in the titular role. Due to Tom Hanks brilliant performance this film won several awards such as Academy Awards for the Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Visual Effects, and Best Film Editing among others.

Aamir Khan is a noted Bollywood actor and comes from a family with deep roots in film-making. While still in college , he developed an interest in theatre and worked with the group, Avantar. When he decided to take up acting as a full time profession, he debuted in acclaimed film-maker Ketan Mehta's 'Holi' and Mansoor Khan's 'Qyamat Say Qyamat Tak' catapulted Aamir to dizzy heights of fame, but he never lost sight of creative involvement with the roles he chose to essay.

Thus a string of films like Raakh', 'Jo Jeeta Wahi Sikander', 'Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin', 'Earth', 1947', 'Ghulam Sarfarosh', 'Lagaan', 'Dil Chahta Hai, and 'Rang De Basanti' have won him acclaim from masses as much as from connoisseurs. Lagaan, with which he turned producer, was the first Indian entry to be shortlisted for the OSCARS, 'Mangal Pandey' was the second film he produced . 'Tarre zameen par’ makes his debut as a director.';

Aamir has acted in Vijay Krishna Acharya's Thugs Of Hindostan along with noted actor Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh but the film could not hit at the boxoffice.However, Aamir’s role was praiseworthy.

No doubt, Aamir Khan wears many hats. He is not only actor but he is also into direction, production, screenwriter and a television presenter too. Not many of his fans and audience know his real name as Mohammed Aamir Hussain..

He has successful career in Hindi films, Khan has established himself as one of the most popular and influential actors of Indian cinema. Due to his tremendous contribution to bollywood films,he became the recipient of Padma Shri and Padam Bhushan, including four National Film Awards and seven Filmfare Awards.

He acted as a child actor on screen in his uncle Nasir Hussain's film ‘Yaadon Ki Baaraat’ (1973) and began a full-time career with a leading role in the highly successful tragic romance ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’ (1988). After great success of ‘Lagan”, Khan started a production company, Lagan was nominated for Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film and earned him a National Film Award. As an actor he continued to portray leading roles, most notably in the 2006 box-office hits Fanaa and Rang De Basanti.

Its almost 30 years of his successful film-career and till now, he has appeared in almost 55 Bollywood films directed by renowned filmdirectors such as Ketan Mehta, Yash Chopra, Nitesh Towari and Ashutosh Gowarikar among others.

The following year, he made his directorial debut with ‘Taare Zameen Par’, a major success that garnered him the Filmfare Awards for Best Film and Best Director. Khan's greatest commercial successes came with the thriller Ghajini (2008), the drama comedy 3 Idiots (2009), and the adventure film Dhoom 3 (2013) had the highest grossing Bollywood film of all-time.

Aamir is a briliant actor therefore, famous awardwinning film-director Raj Kumar Hirani selected him for his critically acclaimed films such as PK and 3 idiots. Hirani know the pulse of his audience before making Pk, Hirani judged Aamir’s acting talent and persuaded him for the role of PK as a Alien and he has to reduce weight so,that he can look 21 year old.

Aamir has appeared in many hit films such as 'Rang De Basanti', 'Dangal', 'Taare Zameen Par', PK, Jo Jeeta Wahi Sikander, Dil Chahta Hai, Andaz Apna Apna, Ghajini, Sarfrosh, Qayamat Se Qyamat tak, Earth, Raakh, Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin, Talaash, Akele Hum Tum, Ishq, Mangal Pandey: The Rising, Raja Hindustani, Dhoom 3, Secret Superstar, Dil, Mann, Dhobi Ghat and Baazi, among others' but some of his favouite films got much appreciated among his audience and fans. Those are PK, Ghajini, Mangal Pandey, Rang De Basanti', Earth, Dangal, Secret Superstar, Dhoom 3, Baazi, and Tarre Zameen par and Dhobi Ghat among others.

There are interesting scenes. In one scene in the metro showing God’s pic and asking Where can I find God? “That look so funny and one can laugh at this scene.In the other scene, when he went to buy carrots and gave duplicate note of 500, that particular scene makes his fans and audience funny.

Besides these funny and interesting scenes, film’s dialogues are also like PK, even audience reacts these names and call themselves tu PK hai kya These quotes make this film more fantastic.

Then in 3 idiots also he got much applause due to his funny acts. Dangal is yet another critically acclaimed film made by Nitesh Tiwari. Dangal is based on famous wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat and his two wrestler daughters who struggle towards glory at the Commonwealth games in the face of societal oppression.

In Fannah, famous actress Kajol played a blind girl and fell in love with Aamir. Their on-line chemistry made this film much interesting.

This noted actor is not only competent in playing remarkable roles in films. He has also hosted critically acclaimed serial ‘Satyamev Jayete, in which he has shown several known activists and inspiring stories based on scanvengers, children's malnutrition and farmers problem.

As an actor, he is busy always but he spares some quality time for his family and fans. On one occasion, while meeting him in Delhi, I still recall that he had specially instructed his personal bodyguards not to ignore his female fans.
